Well Written

Is this research clearly presented, well laid out, attractive, following submission guidelines, and with correct spelling and grammar?

Also called: Clarity of presentation, Conformance to guidelines, Spelling correctness, Grammar correctness, Attractiveness and Readable with respect to the Format and Layout, Written text, Tables, Figures, Graphs

All sections need to be well written. See also the following elements:

  1. Language: Are there spelling or grammar language errors?

  2. Readable: Is this document easy to read?

  3. Title: Does the title describe the topic in an interesting way, and invite the reader to read on?

  4. Abstract: Does the abstract state the main purpose, results and implications?

  5. Topic Area: Is there one topic area referred to by consistent terms through-out?

  6. Tables: Do any tables have a meaningful title, row/column headings, and have a mention in the text like “See Table 1”?

  7. Frequency Tables: Do any frequency tables show percentages that add up to 100% for each row?

  8. Mean Tables: Do any mean tables show dependent means varying by row/column causes?

  9. Figures: Do any figures add value to the text for the space they take up?

  10. Graphs: Are any graphs of the right type, with clearly labeled axes?

  11. Summarize Findings: Are the main findings clearly summarized, preferably in a list at the end of the results section?

  12. Submission Requirements: Are the submission requirements met?
