Limitations

Declare and address directly an research limitations

Limitations are the assumptions of your research that may not be true, e. g. your sample may be too small. Every argument has assumptions, so a "foolproof" argument is simply one whose assumptions are undeclared. Likewise every research has its limitations so it is better to declare limitations than to try to hide them, so then they can be taken into account. It is also better to anticipate criticisms by discussing limitations than to let them simply arise in a reviewers mind. Knowledgeable readers see the limitations anyway, and wonder if you did not mention them from ignorance.
