Implications

Develop implications - how this research generalizes to other cases in theory and practice

Be clear how (given any limitations) this research may be extended to more general cases. Starting with your findings, suggest how they may be more widely applicable or lead to other things. This research may have implications for theory or practice or both. The implications may challenge, support or change current theories, or likewise for current practices. They may suggest new applications or practices. This is the one part of the paper where you can spread your wings and say what you like, without having to justify every statement, so take advantage of it and be original! By developing the implications of the research, you point out its relevance to the reader.
