  1. Opinion Statements: Are there opinion statements that cannot withstand critical review?

  2. Pilot Study: Were any new methods or tools piloted or trialed and then improved accordingly?

  3. Research Design: Is the logic of how the results will validly answer the research question explicitly given?

  5. Control Group: Was a randomly allocated control group used if feasible?

  6. Right Measures: How were the constructs actually measured or investigated?

  13. Response Scale: Are response scales easy to use, unbiased, exhaustive and sensitive?

  14. Missing Values: How were missing value non-responses recorded?

  15. Sample Size: Is the sample is big enough for the question(s) asked of it?

  16. Data Conversion: How was the raw data converted for analysis?

  17. Demographics: Do the sample demographics match the population demographics?

  18. Analytic Statistics: If any analytic statistics for strength or significance are used, are they appropriate?

  19. Analysis Assumptions: Are any analysis assumptions stated and handled?
